Services
REACH
We are making a difference in the community by meeting the needs of those who live and work there. Outreach is the forerunner to in reach. We must first meet the physical, emotional, and financial needs to set a foundation to motivating people to improve their lives. Feeding and clothing the hungry, providing school supplies, assisting those with mental health needs or emotional health deficits and guiding people to available resources in and around the community is merely a stepping stone of reasonable services we can offer to those most vulnerable among us. We, as a community, are only as great as the least among us. Reaching past ourselves can provide the opportunity for greatness! TEACH
Education is paramount- Learning is for a lifetime and a lifetime should be spent learning. Education is not just meant for the classroom or college setting, but everywhere. We have a responsibility to pour functional knowledge into our children and each other. We are setting a standard with our educational initiatives such as community event handwashing training stations, etiquette classes, resume writing," computer literacy, financial workshops, business "how to" workshops.
Scholarships and Grants for youth and adults of all ages will assist them to further their education; improving the economic footprint and increase opportunities for the community as a whole.
SPEECH
Raise your voice-It is your power! Speech is our third area of focus. Too many of us settle for less because we lack the understanding of the power of words. No one is directing us in a positive way or inspiring us to rise up with our pens or to use our creative minds and language, not violence, to effect change. Our goal is to demonstrate a better way and change the path from the "norm" to extraordinary! Through our speech classes, 2nd & 3rd language classes, boys mentoring programs, SLIDE Youth collective, financial literacy, creative writing and performing arts workshops, we provide the conduit for words to transform into living beacons of light. No longer will there be silence-Speech is restored!
